Still Unsure? Try Our Business Benefit Assessment (BBA)

If you need more hard data to evaluate your options for managing print procurement, we can help.

A NewlineNoosh Business Benefit Assessment (BBA) uncovers inefficiencies in the print supply chain and identifies the potential ROI from implementing our solutions.

Our team analyzes your print spend including sourcing, procurement, supply base, pricing, workflow and print procedures across your enterprise or specific business units.

Assessment Objectives

  • Increase visibility into print spend
  • Provide an overall assessment of current sourcing processes and supply chain configuration
  • Review currently deployed print procurement technology/solutions
  • Identify potential cost avoidance and cost management opportunities
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that allow you to:
    • Reduce total costs associated with print procurement
    • Improve service levels and time-to-market
    • Implement long-term print sourcing best practices

BBA Steps

Step 1: Management Survey

Independent consultants interview senior management to scope business goals and identify a print program or programs to target with the Business Benefit Assessment. The program may be enterprise-wide or more specifically focused on a particular brand or business unit.

Step 2: Project Team Survey

Print production and procurement experts interview key process participants to benchmark metrics and quality process improvement opportunities and to assess existing print procurement processes, including: print product design and specification, sourcing and supplier selection, production management and reporting and accountability.

A key component of the survey includes intensive data collection to construct fact based recommendations.

Step 3: Business Analysis

NewlineNoosh consultants validate the potential ROI through careful analysis of actual print jobs, specifically looking for opportunities to leverage volume and improve process efficiencies, quality and savings. Techniques used include a market basket definition to establish benchmarks of prices paid for various printed products. Based on the analysis of supply chain participants and process workflows, the team estimates the potential savings based on possible alternative supply chains and workflows.

BBA Results

The final deliverable is a formal document with actionable recommendations and a well-defined configuration that integrates smoothly with your operations, corporate structure and financial management. This formal analysis includes the strengths and weaknesses of specific processes, recommendations for improvement, anticipated business results and an estimated ROI. The presentation concludes with a solution recommendation and implementation proposal.

To establish the target ROI, the Business Benefit Assessment also includes:

  • TARGET ROI DEFINITION: Focusing on the processes recommended and ROI estimated in the formal presentation, NewlineNoosh works with you to jointly select benchmarks specific to your company and establish performance metrics.
  • MILESTONE DEFINITION: Based on the performance metrics defined, two ROI milestones are established. Typically, milestones are 60 and 120 days from implementation.
