Ofer Ben-Shachar CEO NewlineNoosh, Inc. Redwood City, CA Ofer Ben-Shachar is the original founder and CEO of the company which, at its founding in 1998, had the same name as its award-winning technology, “Noosh.” He has continuously served on our Board of Directors since that time. He successfully orchestrated the acquisition of digiGroups in 2001 and the merger with Newline Management in 2005 which formed NewlineNoosh, the first technology-powered managed services provider for large print buying organizations. Ofer is a recognized innovator in the growth of Internet-based services. Under his leadership the company created a proven cross-enterprise collaboration technology, Noosh 5, which is now the most widely-used technology to buy and manage print with annual purchase transactions exceeding $800 million in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa. Prior to NewlineNoosh, Ofer founded NetDynamics where he presided over the development, launch and successful deployment of the first Java application server product in 1996, a market which has since grown to over $6 billion in annual revenues. NetDynamics was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 1998. Ofer has been awarded several patents, is frequently invited to lecture at Internet and software conferences and has published numerous articles. He earned a B.S. with Distinction in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an M.S. in Computer Science from Washington State University. |

Shawn Farshchi Chief Operating Officer with Coremetrics Coremetrics San Mateo, CA With more than 25 years of experience, Shawn Farshchi is responsible for all aspects of Coremetrics' service delivery, including development, global operations, client and professional services. Prior to joining Coremetrics Mr. Farshchi served in a variety of executive positions with WebEx Communications. As CIO and Vice President of technical operations and engineering, Mr. Farshchi was responsible for all aspects of platform engineering, global technical and customer operations and delivering best of class on-line collaboration applications to more than 23,000 large and small companies. As the SVP of engineering and CIO of BroadVision Inc., Mr. Farshchi was instrumental in delivering state-of-the-art software solutions for eCommerce and self-service web applications utilized by major corporations like Wal-Mart and Air France. Prior to joining BroadVision, Mr. Farshchi was SVP and CIO of DHL Airways, responsible for delivery of mission critical systems such as customer service, Global Track and Trace, aircraft maintenance systems, crew scheduling systems, field operations, financial and HR systems. He has also served in a variety of technology and management positions at Bechtel Power Corp., Sprint, GTE Spacenet, Oracle, Pacific Gas and Electric and Roche Corporation. Mr. Farshchi holds a B.S.E.E. from San Francisco State University, an M.S. in Telecommunications and an M.B.A., both from Golden Gate University. |
